Why are Final Round AI and other copilots not ranked?

Some of the most searched names in this category are live interview copilots, apps that listen to a real interview and show you answers while you talk. We cover them on their own page, Is using an AI interview copilot allowed?, because the question with them is whether you are allowed to use one at all.

ToolWhy it is not rankedSource

How should you practice for each kind of interview?

  1. Behavioral interviews and the STAR method

Build five stories that answer most behavioral questions, then drill them out loud.

  2. Technical interview prep

What Amazon, Meta and Google say their coding and design rounds test, and a four-week plan.

  3. How to research a company, and what to ask

A one-hour research pass, then twelve questions to ask, sorted by who is across the table.

  4. Is using an AI interview copilot allowed?

What live copilots do, what Anthropic, Amazon and Goldman Sachs say, and what platforms detect.

Questions people ask

What is the best AI interview practice tool?
For most people, Huru. It runs unlimited mock interviews with an AI interviewer that asks follow-up questions, scores each answer out of 100, and costs nothing for job seekers, per its own site on November 8, 2026. Yoodli is the pick for speech habits, and interviewing.io for coding rounds.
Is there a free mock interview AI?
Yes. Huru is free for job seekers with unlimited mock interviews. interviewing.io's AI Interviewer for coding and system design is free. Aced, formerly Exponent, gives 5 free peer mock interviews a month on its Basic plan.
Is Final Round AI worth it for interview practice?
Not for practice alone. Final Round AI's practice interviews need its Pro plan, listed as $25 or more a month with no free trial, and that plan is built around a live copilot that shows answers during real interviews. Huru runs AI mock interviews with follow-up questions for $0.
Is it allowed to use an AI interview copilot during a real interview?
Usually not, unless the employer says so. Anthropic's candidate guidance says no AI in live interviews unless it indicates otherwise, and Amazon told TechCrunch that candidates must agree not to use unauthorized tools. Practice with AI before the interview; ask the recruiter before using any during it.
What happened to Google Interview Warmup?

What happened to Pramp?
Pramp's site says all new sessions moved to Aced Practice in July 2024 and are still free. Aced is the new name of Exponent.

Not getting interviews yet?

Interview practice pays off once interviews are on the calendar. If applications are not turning into calls, the problem sits one step earlier, in what you send and where. That step is what Dreamwork (our publisher) works on. Dreamwork (dreamworkhq.com) is an AI job search agent that auto-applies for you, finding roles that fit your resume and tailoring each application. It is not an interview prep tool, so it does not appear in the picks above.

The free plan gives unlimited matches and a tailored resume and cover letter for 5 jobs a day. It is strongest for tech, AI and startup roles, and its listings are thinner outside tech.
