Huru: free AI mock interviews, what you get in 2026

Who is Huru for?

Huru fits anyone with a general, behavioral or role-specific interview coming up who wants to practice out loud, alone, as many times as they need. Paste the job description and it builds questions from it. Turn on video and it adds feedback on eye contact, posture and gestures. huru.ai

The follow-up questions are the reason it beats a question list. Real interviewers dig into your first answer. A tool that only reads the next question from a list cannot train that.

What should you use instead of Huru?

  • Coding and system design rounds: interviewing.io, whose AI Interviewer is also free.
  • If you want a real person across the table: Aced's Basic plan, with 5 free peer mocks a month. aced.io
  • If your main problem is how you sound, not what you say: Yoodli is built around speech coaching, though it costs money after 5 sessions.
